Transcript of CFOR 101 (Fa '16) T16 - Learn to Fly in the Fellowship
Learn to Fly in the Fellowship (ch. 13)
Characteristics of Fellowship
Draw two circles so that they partially overlap. Title one circle "New Testament Fellowship." Title the other circle "Modern Church Fellowship."
Carrying the Weak
Heb. 3:12-13 (ESV), "Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called "today," that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin."
What is needed to transform a “community regular” into a covenant community?
Who is called to do something in Heb. 3:12-13? Why?

Write the distinctive characteristics of each kind of church fellowship in the appropriate circle. Write the characteristics of fellowship both churches share in the overlapping section.
What, if anything, did you write in the overlapping section?
How might the Christian life today be different if the church as a whole thought of fellowship as the NT church did?
