Adult Students must complete 1500 clock hours – 11 courses
High School students must complete 1000 hours before Hs graduation- 8 courses
Uniforms, books and student training kits required
Full-Time Day class meets Monday – Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Corsicana and Waxahachie
High School Class meets Monday – Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:30p.m. Corsicana and Waxahachie

Cosmetology licensure leads to immediate employability with a high potential for small business ownership

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Cosmetology License includes: all aspects of hair care i.e. style, cut, color, perms, relaxers, - nail care i.e. manicures, pedicures, artificial nails, nail art – Skin care i.e. spa facial, hair removal, make up
Instructor license(750) – training to become a teacher in the license
All program curriculum focuses on: “Salon-ready” skills, customer service, professional image, anatomy & physiology, chemistry, retailing and business development
Apply for Navarro College, transcripts, residency…
No pre-testing required, GED or HS dilplomia, high school students – approval for dual-credit by counselor
Apply for any Financial assistance needed…fafsa.ed.gov
Return Pink Registration form with fafsa award letter pick up blue registration form and take to counseling center.
Purchase books and kits from bookstore, pick up books and bring kit receipts with you on the first day of class to receive your kit
Entry into program begins 3 time a year
Tuition – In-district - $2800 adult, $2000 HS
Tuition – Out-of-district - $4200 adult, $3000 HS
Books and Kit - $1500 adult, $500-$600 HS
Uniforms - $35-$45 per set
School Supplies - $50
$25 registration fee
State board testing fees and license - $200
Specialty classes – optional - pay per class
