All About Michael Jordan
By: Alexis Kalina Emily Sobel & Shantell Barnes Jordan had a growth spurt before his junior years. Michael Jordan was born on February 17th 1963.
He is now 49 years old. There were 5 children in Michael's family.


Michaels occupations were: Basketball player and a Baseball player, Actor, and a Business man.


Michael's nickname was "Air Jordan" because of
his extraordinary leaping ability and acrobatic
maneuvers. Michael entered the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1981 .

Jordan leaves college early and enters the NBA draft. He was chosen by the Chicago Bulls with the third pick of the draft.

He was NBA rookie of the year in
1984-1985. The 1985-1986 season was tough for Michael because of a broken bone in his foot so he was forced to miss all but 18 games in the regular season.


Jordan won the slam dunk competition in 1987-1988


He was the defensive player of the year in 1988. Michael was to short "511" so he played
on the Junior Varsity Team Michael was born in Brooklyn New York. Michael grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. Jordan was ranked #1 by ESPN.

The majority of basketball experts
agree that he was the greatest player
who ever lived.

Michael won 5 NBA most valuable
player awards.
