Transcript of I Do Not Love You Except Because I Love You

By Pablo Neruda Pablo Neruda I DO NOT LOVE YOU EXCEPT BECAUSE I LOVE YOU Neftalí Ricardo Reyes Basoalto, was born on 12 July, 1904, in the town of Parral in Chile.
When he was about 13 years old he wrote articles to the daily "La Mañana" and it included his first poem, Entusiasmo y Perseverancia.
He was also a writer in the literary journal "Selva Austral" under the pen name of Pablo Neruda, which has been inspired by the Czechoslovak poet Jan Neruda.
He died on September 23, 1973. I do not love you except because I love you;
I go from loving to not loving you,
From waiting to not waiting for you
My heart moves from cold to fire.
I DO NOT LOVE YOU EXCEPT BECAUSE I LOVE YOU Source: "Pablo Neruda - Biography". Nobelprize.org. 1 Nov 2012 http://www.nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/literature/laureates/1971/neruda-bio.html I love you only because it's you the one I love;
I hate you deeply, and hating you
Bend to you, and the measure of my changing love
for you
Is that I do not see you but love you blindly. Maybe January light will consume
My heart with its cruel
Ray, stealing my key to true calm. In this part of the story I am the one who
Dies, the only one, and I will die of love because I
love you,
Because I love you, Love, in fire and blood. I chose this poem because I love how he expressed the irony of love and how a person's feelings and decisions could change or be affected because of the love he or she has towards that special someone. No matter how much pain and hurt the person has experienced, he or she is still committed and is unconditionally in love with the one he or she desires in life. A report by
