Art and writing
Greek writing was very much like our cursive is today. Their main type of art work was sculpting, and pottery. The type of architecture (houses or buildings) had a place for a special rooms like a store room, a men's area, a women's area, and worship.
time period
The ancient people of greece emerged as a civilization about the year 800 and lasted about 970 years.The greek empire came to an end when they merged whith the romans.
The main landforms in Greece are the Mediterranean Sea, The Black Sea, Ionian Sea, Sea of Crete, and Mount Olympus.
In Ancient Greece each city had its own calendar. They had flushing tubs for toilets. They used ditches to move water. Most buildings where the same and had dirt roads.
Ancient Greeks would trade perfume pots. Prachma was used as their currency.

The leadership they had was a democratic republic. Slavery was legal. and laws where in place. They where polytheistic. Some Gods they believed in were Ares, Athena, Zeus, Hermes, Hera, and Poseidon. They believed that Hades ruled the after life. They also would not eat beans because they thought that dead peoples souls were in them.
Ancient Greece invented The Olympics. Girls were home schooled and boys weren't.They didn't eat beans because they thought the souls of dead people where in them.
The bride and groom never meet until the wedding.
