Women in sport?
Transcript of Women in sport?
I have been watching sunrise channel 7 at 7am to 7:30am and writing notes on how long the scene goes for and how much men's sport on the media and how much women's sport is on the media.
I have found that watching sunrise on channel 7 is that men have 3 min. and 7 sec. and the women have 0 min. 0 sec.
I have found by watching sunrise for the second time that the results are that there is still no media coverage on women. The men had 1 min and 32 sec and women had 0 min 0 sec. Altogether over the two days the men have had 4 min. and 39 sec of coverage.
My results for the third day is that on the 18th/9/13 men has had 1 min 51 sec media coverage and the women has had 0 min 0 sec media coverage. Altogether there has been 6 min 30 sec the men has had 6 min 30 sec and the women has had 0 min 0 sec.
My results for the fourth day is that on the 19th/9/13 men has had 2 min 20 sec media coverage and the women has had 0 min 0 sec media coverage. Altogether there has been 7 min 50 sec the men has had 7 min 50 sec and the women has had 0 min 0 sec.
My results for the fifth day is that altogether there has been 10 min 19 sec the men has had 10 min 0 sec and the women has had 0 min 19 sec. This is my result from the 20th/9/13 men has had 2 min 10 sec media coverage and the women has had 0 min 19 sec media coverage.
In My Conclusion i have found that women had 3% of coverage compared to men. Women had 19 seconds and men had 10 min.
So i believe that women should have more sporting coverage because they play lots of sports just like men.
