Pin Check Brightness mode
Highly reliable part direction checks are performed by checking the brightness of
several points on the bottom of the part during vision processing.

Up to ten bottom marks can be specified in the shape data in the job or in the library to check the brightness of multiple locations

Multi Part Master Function
This allows multiple package types to be registered when using parts whose package type cannot be determined during part registration.

Auto Head Cleaner
Easy maintenance that doesn't require training
Automates nozzle cleaning, inspection, and setting
Target On Paste
Solder printing deviations sometimes occur due to issues such as the expansion and contraction of the panel.
When this happens, tombstoning occurs for small chips after reflow.
TOP placement is a placement method that places parts while considering this print deviation amount.
CSV Creator
This is a tool that is used to output a list of part data, shape data and package data of the library or jobs to a CSV files.

It is possible to edit these CSV files and import them back to the job or libraries in order to check and update data quickly
By using the AVL tool, it is possible to use parts that have the same function but come from different vendors and might have different shapes and supply direction without having to edit the job in production.
AVL stands for “Available Vendor List”.
Maintenance conditions by feeder name
It is possible to specify the threshold values of he maintenance condition for each feeder name in Advanced Feeder Maintenance.

Displaying Part Center
In Fuji Flexa, previously the placement position for all parts displayed at the body
center, but now the placement position now displays based on the center
information (for the part/body) returned by vision processing, which means that
the position to check in Fuji Flexa and the placement position at the machine are
the same
Splicing double check
This function has the goal of preventing misplacements due to incorrect parts reel splicing. It works by having an administrator repeat splicing verification after the operator.
HexaFeeders enable six types of 8mm reels to be set using 4 slots in the feeder pallet.
They can be loaded in the feeder pallet, MFU and the Tray Unit LT/LTC/LTW used for the following machine types

NXT2, NXT2-c, NXT3, NXT3-c,

Enable AVL in the User Server
By default, the AVL function is disabled

Each part number of the list must have a shape and package assigned in advanced
The list should be assigned to each reference in the jobs

Each DID should be registered with a part number of the AVL list created in Flexa

This tool receives vision processing error images and shows them directly in the machine monitor, then the shape data is adjusted automatically (after a confirmation) and the production can be resumed quickly

If the tool is installed in a computer other than the MCS, it is necessary to set a Host connection

Once the NPI is open, select the line-machine where the tool is going to be used
The background color of the job name changes at the machine operator panel

Important Points
Solder marks used for TOP placement must be set diagonally.

Solder marks must include three or more land paterns

Not all NXTII modules are supported

Once the machine fails for the first fiducial reading, acquire the image and adjust the fiducial solder mark with the Seek Template editor
Flexa Setup
Create a Fiducial marks as usual and select "solder" for Fiducial mark type.
Create mark coordinates in flexa and assign them to the placement desired

2D code reading, air flow, nozzle sliding movement, nozzle tip damage
Defective nozzles are sorted by problem cause and ejected
Nozzles can be automatically set from the storage section of the unit based on the next production program

Fujitrax Verification
HexaFeeders use cassettes for loading reels.
There are cassette ids and maintenance ids.
The verification is performed using cassettes ids
It is necessary to use paper and embossed type cassette for HexaFedeers based on the package type
Assign feeder indexing setting should be set
Subslots are added after an hexaFeeder is selected

Fujitrax Verification
The DIDs must be registered with the correct package type. Then the verification is performed by matching DID and FIDL package type
Installation and Execution
Run the installer from disk 1 of the Fuji Flexa Installation CD in the Tools\CSV Creator folder to install.
Once installed, you can use the "Create Output item list" to customize the CSV files. Then, run the CSV Creator.

Enable Kit Handy Administrators at Kit Manager
Enable Splicing Double check at Kit Handy and Central server
Operator perform splicng as usual. The splicng is registered and waited for approval

An administrator is logged on and selects the slot from the list. Then performs the validation

If the verification fails, the machine stops.
Prohibit production mode
This stops the machine if the administrator has not validated the splicng

Continue Production mode
The production continues even if the administrator has not validated the splicing
Specify [Brightness] for [Pin Check Mode]

Click the [Click Here!] button for [Brightness Information]

From the imported list, select the desired feeder and set the maintenance conditions

Import the flexa feeder name list in the Advanced Feeder Maintenance
Install at least external component of Fuji Flexa in the Advanced Feeder Maintenance PC and Kit Manager PC
Specify the correct feeder name in Kit Manager for each feeder using the “Browse” button

Parts Registration
Select “Multi” for the package type when registering the part master and enter the required information
Select “Unknown” for the package type when DID’s are created

Quick Verify (ID Creation)
During part verification, a dialog box will show up asking for package type and quantity

Shape Data Checker
This function compares the entered body size tolerances and pickup tolerance values to the recommended values from Fuji.

The tool recognizes four conditions for the values compared to the recommended ones: large (Too Tight), small (Too Loose), equal (OK), and not entered (default).

It is posible to check tolerances by job or by library

Both Generic and Override can be checked

There are two tolerances levels: level 0 and level 1
There is an option to update the results to the revised data
The results can be exported to CSV file

Splicing Timer
This is a function to limit the splicing work time.

Rescan for checking splicing work (3-point check)
Limit of checking time for splicing parts with 2-point check splicing
Limit for splicing work time

Checking and Approving operator errors
This function has been added so that when an error occurs scanning in Kit Handy, the error must be approved by an administrator

LCR Check function
With this function, before placing a new part, a part is checked with a LCR meter in order to determine wheter is placed or rejected according to the values set in the job
Head & Nozzle Blocking
Now it is possible to block heads and nozzles that require maintenance in order to avoid quality issues
Wide type "F" Feeders
The new high-speed feeders have been released to support higher speed heads.
These feeders feature both extremely fast tape indexing and stable supplying of parts
Kit Handy Setting
Start Kit handy and select [File] - [Option] and then go to the [Connection] tab

Select the [Admin Approval] check box to enable the function.
Register administrators in Kit Manager
Enable Kit Handy admin registration
Restart Kit Manager and log on as fujiadmin

1. An error occurs
If the operator performs an incorrect action such as scanning the wrong part barcode, an error displays

2. Administrator approval
By closing the error message shown in step 1, the dialog box to enter the Admin ID displays

Important Points
LCR Check function can be used with or without fujitrax
Reports of the LCR Results can be obtained through accesosy software
The measured data is stored in Operator Trace when used with fujitrax
After an error part is measured by LCR meter, this is reported as "error part" in the flexa reports
Attach LCR unit to the modules and specify "Yes" for the [LCR Unit] in the module configuration
Select part type (L/C/R) and the correspondig values and tolerances
Inside the part data, select "Yes" for the [LCR Check] setting
When "Yes" is specified, the [LCR Check Parameter] setting is displayed
Set the recovery for the LCR erros

The [Use Feeder Revision] item is added as an optimization option

Indexing Priority was added in Shape data for the W12f feeders and wider
Accesory Settings
It is possible to specify if the feeders type F must be used.
During otimization, it is possible only to change the feeder name by selecting "Reselects feeders" option

Inside the maintenance software, enable the option to block head/nozzle
Kit Handy Setting
Go to [options]-[System4] tab and select "Perform the safe splicing" check box
If the splicing was performed within the time, a dialog box will show up asking for rescan the new DID

If this rescan is not performed within the time specified, the error will appear and the splicing is not performed
How to use
Perform splicing as usual (2-point check)

If the time from when an old DID is scanned to when a new DID is scanned exceeds the specified time limit, the error appears and splicing is not performed
a. The set value is the time limit from where an old DID is scanned to when a new DID is scanned

b. The set values are the time limit from when splicing is performed until when double check of a new DID is completed
How to use
2-point check mode for splicing is mandatory if this function is used

This function is not available when "Without DID" mode is being used

If this function is used together with "Splicing double check", the old DID must be scanned for the rescan operation. Then, the new DID will be scanned by an administrator

Splicing new mode for "without DIDs"
Until now, the splicing mode when "without DIDs" is being used, was performed by searching and selecting the slot to be spliced and then scan the new DID.
Now, it is possible to scan first the FIDL and then the new DID.

DX Head
The DX head enables more effective production for parts from very small to large size with one module by automatically changing auto-tools
