Louis Armstrong
Louis Armstrong was born August 4, 1901 in New Orleans, Louisiana. His main instrument was the trumpet, but he also played the cornet and he sang. Hr attended the Fisk School for Boys as a child where he grew his musical experience. Later, at age eleven, he dropped out. Louis died July 6, 1971 in Queens, New York.

Irving Berlin
Irving Berlin was born on May 11, 1888 near Mogilev, Russian Empire. He played a unique piano that shifted the keys to play different pitches. He was considered legendary composer by the time he turned thirty because he wrote about 1.5k songs over a sixty year period. Most of his songs became famous hits. Some of his most famous songs were, "Easter Paradise", "White Christmas", "God Bless America", and "Happy Holiday". His composing career of sixty years made him the legendary composer that he was. He died on September 22, 1989 at the age 101 in New York City.
