The actor who played John Proctor (Daniel Day-Lewis) married Millers daughter Becca afterwards.
Play: Reverend Parris only threatens to whip Tituba
Movie: Reverend Parris whips Tituba
Play: George Jacobs is accused of witchcraft because of Elizabeth Churchill
Movie: The girls gang up on Mary Warren in a separate room before turning on her in the court.
Play: Only turn on her in court
Movie: Abigail gropes John proctor while talking to him in the woods.
Movie: Added extra scenes to add to the mood.
Movie: Proctor presents the petitions to danforth
Play: Proctor presents them to the nurse
Movie: Abigail goes to see proctor while he's in prison
Movie: The girls are shown in the forest in the beginning
