What is a foodshed???
A foodshed represents the land resource that supports food production for a region or community: it is the geographic origin of a food supply.

The term was coined in 1929 in the book "How Great Cities Are Fed" by W.P. Hedden
Food resilience is the capacity of the system to respond to a disturbance by resisting damage and recovering quickly.
