Spider Monkeys
Spider monkeys have a prehensile tail.
Prehensile tails act as a third arm.
When I visited the Naples Zoo in Florida there was a boat ride into a lake with monkey islands in the water.
We learned a lot about monkeys.
The tourist was talking about the spider monkeys and I got interested.
"Spider Monkeys have a prehensile tail that acts as a third arm" he said.
In the top right corner is one of the oldest monkeys in the world. He is 40 years old. Spider monkeys are lucky to live to 12 years old.
Prehensile tails are awesome
The 5 senses are very important. They help us see, smell, touch, taste, and hear. All of these senses work together in harmony.
