The Evolution Of Trap Muzik
History of Trap
The trap music genre first emerged primarily in the South, a genre filled with brass, triangle, triplet hi hats, loud kicks, and low-end 808 bass samples.
When you're talking originators, southern rappers like Waka Flocka, Gucci Mane, Young Jeezy, T.I., Manny Fresh, Outkast, Three Six Mafia & Master P all come to mind.
Some famous producers in this era were Drumma Boy, Lex Luger, Fatboi, Shawty Redd, DJ Paul, and Lil Jon.
