The benefits of the BC Pipeline Project for British Columbians.

Argument for the BC pipeline project which has recently faced the opposition of many people.

British Columbians between 20-40 years old and parents of teenagers.

To persuade people that the benefits of the project outnumber its negligible harms.

A teenage boy and later on a middle-aged woman.

The benefits are categorized as followed: jobs, tax revenues, technology, and safety.

mainly taken from the Northern Gateway website and the Trans Mountain website.

Only the benefits of the project are mentioned and they are constantly referred to as "Facts".

Irritated by people who don't check the "facts" and optimistic and certain about the benefits of the pipeline project.
them silly environmentalists

onment

but they go
ahead and waste paper and make more work for the janitor!!!!
Nice! They've even recycled their background!!!

Those environmentalists are such babies!!! Even a teenage boy can notice that!!!!
Bias in the source
According to which UBC study???
Who cares? It was a study at a university. Good enough!
Details
Northern Gateway will create 3000 short-term and 560 long-term jobs.

Trans Canada will create 4500 temporary and 50 permanent jobs.
That is 16% of the jobs are permanent and the rest last for only 3 years.
Only 1% of the jobs are permanent. The rest last for 2 years.
$ 1.2 billion will spent on equipment, office supplies, and food for the workers.
"Providing increased emergency response at key points along marine routes that is
3 times better than required
."
Bias in Statistics

all
mariners.

poisons
Alberta's water and air,
destroys
forests, and
violates
treaty rights"
"expanding tar sand production
will deepen
the

We're already Ground Zero... you guys are late!!!
We saw how horrible everything was so we decided to make a video about it the next day (Oct. 17th).
"I'm
seriously
concerned about the effects that the tar sands
are having
on
our
environment and
communities
. We won't
just
stand by and let Harper push through these pipelines. We’re going to stand with
First Nations communities, British Columbians, and the rest of Canada
and say NO to tar sands pipelines."
"The Harper government
is supporting
Kinder Morgan's plan."

Not your government anymore! These are all their plans...
All against Harper!
