Ski Resorts Austria has a wide variety of ski resorts for every skill level and every age. The resorts have beautiful views and stunning scenery. Grossglockner Mountain, one of the highest mountains in the Eastern Alps, and the highest mountain in Austria has many ski resorts and beautiful national parks. different divisions of the Alps in Austria such as the Bavarian Alps, the Otztaler Alps, and the Carnic Alps. A large section of the Alps is found in Austria. There are many raction to tourists in Austria. Weitwanderweg Weitwanderweg, which means "Long-distance hiking paths," really has a self explanatory title. Weitwanderweg has over 100 beautiful hiking trails with beautiful scenery that are and enjoyment for all. The End Experience After touring Austria, tourists will of had a very cultural experience. Austrian German is the main dialect in Austria, and many customs and traditions come with this culture. Lamprechtsofen Cave Lamprechtsofen is the second deepest cave in the world and is also a tourist attraction in Austria. Precipitation is fairly evenly speread all through the year. The wettest times of year are usually November and April. The driest are usually May, September, and the beginning of October. Rain usually comes with storms, and in mountainous areas it can bring on snowfall and hail as well. Summers can be hot and temperatures can reach 30˚C. Winters can be cold and snow cover can last between the end of December up until March, except for in moutains. Austria is located in Europe, specifically Western Europe. Some of Austria's surrounding countries are Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, etc. It's longitude and latitude is 47° N and 13° E. This is a map of Austria's physical features. A great part of Austria is made up of mountains, specifically the Alps. It also has many rivers such as Danube River, Enns River, Traun River, etc. Caves are also commonly found in Austria.
