expresses a specific feeling or
feature about your topic. Write as many versions as it takes to hit upon the statement that sets the right tone for your writing. A Formula to Consider The following formula can be used to form your thesis statement: a specific topic
+ a particular stand, feeling or feature
= an effective thesis statement Thesis Structure In your essay, your thesis statement needs to include all three ideas that you will discuss in your essay. For Example:
Money can only buy temporary happiness, however, true happiness comes from family, friends and learning to be content in life. Body Paragraph #1 For Example:
