MACS Server Node 2 switch to Node 1
Check server and storage (Storage Manager 9 Client)
Error log detected and collection(cache battery fail -> Node switch. but Node 2 is normal)
At night, cache battery replaced, "NIM" error appearing.
2/20(Wed)~2/24(Sun)
NIM error appeared every 10 mins
L1B Ary T5 timeout taking place sevral times(consult with IBM)

NTP reset and cron setup Storage Manager 9 nd by CIM-Infra Client Manager:L1-10.45.4.3, L2-10.47.7.31 Storage Manager 9 Give an example:Disk error status Disk array status Error log

was blocked
Topology Services NIM process cannot get timely access to CPU

User Causes
Excessive memory consumption is causing high memory contention
Excessive disk I/O is causing high memory contention

Recommended Actions
Examine I/O and memory activity on the system
Reduce load on the system
Tune virtual memory parameters
Call IBM Service if problem persists

Failure Causes
Excessive virtual memory activity prevents NIM from making progress
Excessive disk I/O traffic is interfering with paging I/O

(set cron for NTP service one time a day) Not Hardware or AP's problem,
It's NTP service out of function.
