Free Read January/ February 2013 Getting Started: Become familiar
with the Prezi website, templates, and tools. Demonstrate that you understand
"story elements" by including a thorough explanation of each of them in your
Prezi. You decide the order that makes sense. Print the Prezi
rubric. Use it to ensure
that you've included all necessary information and
edited for correct spelling, capitalization, punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, and proper paragraph form. Each template is a metaphor for your
message. Choose one that helps convey the message you want to get across to
your reader. Setting: Where and when the story takes place. Inform the reader if the location changes significantly. Sequence: Include the order of
main events as they occur in the
story. Work in the story elements
listed as you read on. Conflict: Explain
the problem that the main character
has to deal with. Explain the events
that occur as the action escalates.
Climax: This is the most exciting
part of the story. Resolution:
Tell how the Conflict is
resolved. After you have retold the story in your own words, add a
paragraph to explain what your thoughts are regarding the book. Did you like the book or not? Explain why. Who should read this book? Prezi Book Report Follow the instructions below to create an original Prezi Book Report Presentation In a prominent place entitle your report incorporating the title of the book you read. Add the author's name and your name. You can personalize the template in any informative way you wish, perhaps by adding more text, pictures, music, video clips, url web addresses, original art, or any other creative method you devise. Log on to Prezi.com and sign in using a valid email address and a password. If you use your parent's, let them know to expect notification. As you progress through the next several circles, you'll find the particular story elements that you should include in your
Prezi. with a rubric attached. After reading through
the information, you can save the presentation
as a PDF file which will you allow
you to print the instructions. Click the presentation arrows
