A Colossal Quake In The Country Of Nepal
The citizens of Nepal,
Including the 4,000 that died

The 7,180 people that were badly injured by the earthquake in the South Asian country Nepal

Many countries and charity groups trying to help the people that were affected by the Quake
A massive earthquake in Nepal
Largest in Nepal since 1934
Even strong enough to be felt in parts of India and China

The colossal earthquake happened in
South Asian country
Especially capital city and part of the country side
Many greatly affected areas were hard to get to because of landslides blocking the roads
The aftershocks that were continuing to cause damage
This colossal quake happened on Saturday

APRIL 25, 2015

When Nepal was hit by the quake, many many cities and towns got damaged
Buildings weren't as strong as our building so more got damaged or fell down when the earthquake hit

The quake registered 7.8 out of 10
on a scale measuring force

The earthquake even triggered an avalanche on Mount Everest, the worlds tallest mountain
