The act is ethically correct because it was the right thing to do.
Discussion Question

Are you for or against action-oriented ethics? Give an example.
How do we know what is the ethically correct action in any given situation?
1.People should never be treated as objects for our own purposes
" Act in such ay that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of any other, always... as an end and never as a means"
2. Motives instead of consequences, are the most important part of any action.
Act with goodwill toward others, and have good intentions toward others.
3.You would want all people to act in the same under the same circumstances
Telling a lie versus the truth, would you want everyone to lie under the same circumstances?
"Categorical imperative"
The right action must be done.(imperative)
In all similar cases without exception.(categorical)
