send to King George lll, they declared their loyalty to the king and asked him to repeal the Intolerable Acts. The Green Mountain boys were a band of Vermonters that Allen decided to lead in a surprise attack on fort Ticonderoga. The Loyalists were American colonists who remained loyal to Britain before and during the war. The king used Mercenaries, or troops for hire, from Germany to help fight the colonist. Natural rights were rights that belonged to all people from birth Valley Forge was a camp that Washington's continental army had to face the cold long winter. A siege occurs when an army
surrounds and blockades an enemy position in attempt to capture it. The treaty of Paris was when British
