All missing work is due the class following your absence
"I wasn't here that day" is never a valid excuse - it is your responsibility to find out what you missed
If you attain 20 unexcused absences you will be awarded no credit
Credit recovery will be assigned to any student who attains 5 unexcused absences in any 1 particular class in any 1 marking period.
Your time will be made up on a Saturday.
If you attain 6 unexcused absences, you will automatically receive a 60.

Excessive tardiness will result in disciplinary action & a lower grade

You are not dismissed by the bell. You are dismissed by your teacher.
Remain seated until you are dismissed - no gathering by the door!
When you leave, push in your chair, make sure your desk is clear of garbage and that you have all of your belongings.
What makes someone successful?
Pants/Dresses/Skirts- Khaki/black colored
No yoga pants, gym short/pants, leggings, etc
Tops- Solid green, gray, or white collared shirts or collared blouses
No hats, sunglasses or flip-flops
If you are in violation of the dress code, you will

Student Autobiography & Collage
For the first couple of days, we will be working on an activity that will allow you to share some things about yourself.
Your first assignment is to write an autobiography (I will provide an outline).
You will also be required to decorate a puzzle piece. This puzzle piece should be a reflection of you! (Interests, Goals, Quotes, Pictures)
