Carbon Dioxide Scrubbers
Transcript of Carbon Dioxide Scrubbers
CO2 is what plants need to create oxygen. But when there is too much in the air, we create global warming.
Carbon dioxide is a chemical that can effects our climate. It traps green house gases in our atmosphere.
Carbon dioxide doesnt allow new and circulated air to enter or be created. Because when the gases are in our atmosphere, only a little bit leaves, and the rest bounces back onto earth's surface.
How does carbon dioxide get into the atmosphere? It gets into the atmosphere through exhaust fumes from cars, industrial plants, cutting down trees, machines, etc. How do carbon dioxide scrubbers help our environment? By absorbing carbon dioxide, it is reducing the gas in the atmosphere. Allowing green house gases to escape from the atmosphere and making the chemicals in the air be more balanced.
Helps reduce global warming! Chemical Equation 2 LiOH(s) + 2 H2O(g) → 2 LiOH.H2O(s) Importance of balancing equations You have to balance them if you want to determine correct quantities of products and reactants.
