Species: Shark Taxonomic levels A hammerhead shark uses its wide head to trap stingrays by pinning them to the seafloor. How do hammerhead catch some of it prey? Unlike many fish, hammerheads do not lay eggs. A female gives birth to live young. One litter can range from six to about 50 pups. How do they lay babies? Hammerheads live in warm tropical waters off of the coast of Australia and Central America. It is able to survive in a large range from 3 feet to 262 feet of salt water.
Where habitat is? and where can they be found? There have been very few recorded attacks on people by the great hammerhead. Its reputation is as a shark that is bdangerousut not very aggressive. Are hammerhead dangerous to humans?? Hammerheads are born with their head bent backwards so that they do not get stuck in the birth canal.
