Transcript of Brazil
Christmas in brazil is one of the most important ''dia de festers'' of the year.
An old brazilian legends says that even the animals talk about the birth of Christ.
Unfortunately not all the people have a great feast at their house depending on how much money they have.
Most people have turkey, vegetables, and fruit but, for the poor people they eat chicken, rice, and beans.
The people in Brazil like to hang fresh flowers from the gardens. They also have Christmas trees like ours.
Papai Noel is the gift bringer in Brazil. They believe he lives in Greenland.
Because of the warm warm weather in Brazil, Papai Noel wears light weight silk clothing.
They also have to look for presents hidden around the house.
Sadly not all the children in Brazil will receive gifts, even if they prayed a lot for them.
Some local charities gather donations from those who can afford to give or are willing to, but it is never enough for all the children

There is an old legend that says that before going to sleep, the kids of Brazil set out their shoes for Papai Noel . On Christmas morning they find their shoes full of little gifts.
