Kinetic energy is energy
in motion. Thermal energy
is something thats
heated. Radiant energy is light energy. Energy is the ability to cause change Potential energy is energy stored
in an object due to its position. Chemical energy is energy stores in chemical bonds. Electrical energy is
energy from electricity Nuclear energy is the nucleus of an atom. The law of conservation of energy is energy is never created or destryed; it merely changes form. A turbine is used to convert
kinetic energy into electrical
energy by a machine at a power
plant. All energy originates from either
the sun or radioactive waves in Earth. Fossil Fuels include oil, natural gas,and coal.
They contain energy from the Suns radiant energy
via photosynthesis. Nuclear energy comes from
the nuclei of uranium atom Artificial dams such as on a river might have a hydroelectric power plant or station. Hydroelectric is derived(to recieve from a source) from the potential energy that water has when it is at the heigh of above sea level.Hydroelectricity come from the potential energy of water. Some examples of alternative resources are solar energy, biomass energy, wind energy, hydrogen, geothermal energy, hydropower energy Energy is the ability to cause change.
