3. ARTWORK STYLE
Hundertwasser's style is often described as
"sui generis" which means it is his own unique style.

Hundertwasser called his own art theory "transautomatism" focusing on the experience and not on the artist. His art is meant to be surreal and like out of a fantasy.

Hundertwasser was fascinated by spirals and
did not use straight lines as he considered
them the "devil's tools".
8. ARTWORK INSPIRATION
"We are in need of magic. I fill a picture until it is full with magic, as one fills up a glass with water."

9. CONCLUSION
I like Hundertwasser
because he has his own style and
has not copied from other artists.
I also love drawing in bright colours
and not with straight lines.
I think I would like to
become more like Hundertwasser
and do things like painting and writing
in my very own
unique Gefion style.

ANY QUESTIONS?
4. ARTWORK DATE
Hundertwasser created
"Blobs in the Beloved Gardens" in 1975.
This was the same year that Hundertwasser

“Austria Presents Hundertwasser

5. ARTWORK STORY
There is no particular story
behind the "Blobs in the Beloved Gardens".
It is meant to be whatever
