They thought that they had to be Catholic or else they would go to Hell. 2.How did the Magna Carta limit the power of King John? I think the influence that the pastors had during the Midlle Ages was alot because in those days Pastors/Priest were higher then government. I think the painting Joan of Arc shows the influence of religion on politics by the Angels and the armor she is wearing. I think the painter viewed the painting Joan of Arc because how is dressed up in a warrior outfit. The painting combine the style of the ancient Greeks and Roman artists by the warrior outfit and how the painting is drawn. Pope Urban II and the Crusades influenced the trade routes by influencing trade growth between the Europe and the Middle east. The cities closer to the water were more affected then The cities farther away from the water. The cities closer to the water benefit the most because they were closer to the port. I think the social standing of merchants in feudal Japan good because they all had money and had whatever they needed or wanted.
