Pierce The Veil is a post-hardcore/
experimental rock band. The band
is made up of four members, Vic
Fuentes, Mike Fuentes, Jaime
Preciado and Tony Perry.
PTV was formed in 2006 by brothers Vic and
Mike. Mike and Vic's original band was first called The Early

2006, finally Pierce The Veil was created and Tony
and Jaime joined.
Pierce The Veil has released three albums,
three covers, an acoustic version of a song off
their 2012 album, and a single.
A Flair For The Dramatic was released in 2007 under the label Equal Vision Records. The album has 11 songs, plus an iTunes bonus track-one of their covers- Beat It, by Michael Jackson. The album includes two songs from Before Today's album, A Celebration of an Ending. After this album came out, the band toured with other big names, All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Sleeping With Sirens and many more. They also preformed one show for Warped Tour 2007, and the entire summer for Warped Tour 2008 and Bamboozle Left. The Delicious Tour was their first head-lining tour in 2008 as well.
In 2010, Pierce The Veil released Selfish
Machines, their second studio album. It has 12 songs, plus a iTunes Deluxe Edition Bonus Track for the song She Makes Dirty Words Sound Pretty. The album made it to No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. To help the band grow, they played more shows including Bamboozle Left, South by Southwest, Never Say Never Festival, and the Vans Warped Tour. They also did a cover of (Don't Fear) The Reaper for the Punk Goes Classic Rock album.
They went on Take Action Tour with Attack Attack! and went to New Zealand and Australia. They also took part in the Versus Tour in Japan with Confide. Next they played This Is a Family tour with 4 bands, including Of Mice & Men, and Attack Attack! again.
2011, Pierce The Veil signed with Fearless Records. In 2012 they released Collide With The Sky. It includes two singles, King For A Day, featuring Kellin Quinn from Sleeping With Sirens, and Bulls in The Bronx. The album has 12 songs, and an acoustic version of Hold On Till May. To promote the album they appeared at Vans Warped Tour again, and were joined on stage by Kellin to help preform King For A Day.
They won 9 categories in Alternative Press magazine, including Best Band of the Year, Album of the Year and Artist of the Year.
2013, Vic featured in a All Time Low song, A Love Like War which was released in September.
Pierce The Veil announced they would be making a documentary including live footage from tours, music videos and more. The band released a statement about the documentary. "Our first world tour was absolutely the craziest experience of our lives.. and we filmed EVERYTHING! Follow along as we visit uncharted territories in search of the best shows and thrilling experiences we could absolutely find along the way. This DVD is for the fans and the fans only. Victor Vincent "Vic" Fuentes
Vic was born February 10, 1983 in San Diego California. He is the lead singer of Pierce The Veil. He and his brother Mike both attended Mission Bay High School.
Vic does more than sing though. He also can play a few instruments. Guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, piano, synthesizer, and lap steel guitar.
Vic recently turned 31, and still manages to look like a ten year old boy going through puberty!
Vic dropped out of University to follow his dream of being in a band.
Mike and Vic Fuentes
Michael "Mike" Fuentes
Mike is Pierce The Veil's drummer and Vic's younger brother. They come from an Italian/Mexican heritage. Their mother, Vivian, is Italian, and their father, Victor, is Mexican.
His birthday is December 14 1984, making Mike 29. And he still looks older than Vic.
Mike has also taken a bit of a solo rap/hip-hop career. He has produced an album, Get Your Mind Right under Velocity Records and 6 singles. Jaime produces the instrumentals for him. He goes under the stage name "MikeyWhiskeyHands!".

And this is Tony and Mike petting sheepcat.
Tony "Turtle" Perry
Tony is PTV's guitarist. He was born February 25 1986. Tony loved the Ninja Turtles growing up, and his favourite animal is the turtle, earning him the nickname "Tony Turtle".
As mentioned, Tony used to be in Trigger My Nightmare with Jaime and others.
Tony has a clothing line, Key Street Clothing, and often wears KEY Clothing, because. #yolo, right?

Yeah Boy And Doll Face
Yeah Boy And Doll Face is a song off Pierce The Veil's first album, A Flair For The Dramatic. Listening to a song from AFFTD, and then following it with a newer song, you can really hear how the band has changed with their sound and vocals.
Personally, I love listening to old PTV songs and noticing how much they've changed since they first started in 2006. Yeah Boy And Doll Face is one of my favourite songs from A Falir For The Dramatic.
PI:What were some of the people you saw maybe on MTV back when they played music that you were like, "That's what I wanna do!" What were your childhood artistic influences?
JP: Funny you say MTV, because I think the first band I saw when I was younger was like, Limp Bizkit or something. I saw a video and I was just like "Man, what are they DOING?! Its so new and crazy!" Seeing stuff like that, when it WAS about music and stuff, I think that was a huge thing. Now kids have the internet so I think that's their version of MTV. Youtube.
VF: I didn't really know too much about music when I was younger. Growing up watching MTV with my parents and stuff like that. But I think when I decided I wanted to do music was when I started to go to shows with my little brother Mike, who's our drummer, going to punk rock local shows, seeing our friends older brothers playing in local bands, and we thought it was the coolest thing in the world.
PI: Yea "I wanna do that when I grow up."
VF: Yeah, I just thought they were so cool.
A small cut from an
Vic and Jaime did with
Plugged In Magazine about
their influences to do
what they do now.
Mike did an interview with OnlineDrummer and also answered questions about his influences.
OLD: How did you get into drumming?
MF: My dad is a jazz guitar player. I grew up around music. He bought me my first drum kit at the local swap meet, and it was actually an old vintage Ludwig but I had no idea at the time; I just thought it was a piece of crap. My dad influenced me a lot.
A buddy of mine was playing drums in a local band, and I started going to local shows, and that influenced me to really pursue it.
Pierce The Veil's I'd Rather Die Than Be Famous
was in the soundtrack for Tony Hawk's Proving Ground.
The band says they find it so strange because they also play the game, and hearing their music play in it just seems crazy.
Look! They even had a myspace!
