Calligraphy What is Calligraphy? Calligraphy Today It is a type of visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a broad tip instrument or brush in one stroke. A contemporary definition of calligraphic practice is "the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious and skillful manner."

(Derives from the Greek words "Beauty" and "Writing.") What has Calligraphy been used for? Logo Design and Sign Making Handwriting and Artistic Expression Medieval Manuscript Books There is not much need for Calligraphy in this day in age. Modern technologies are replacing the need for it even though calligraphy is quite beautiful and takes talent and skill to create it. For example, people can now choose a font on word and print it instantly. What is used in Calligraphy?? Quill (Pen)

Ink India Ink is a simple black ink very dark and usually used for writing and printing.
