On the one hand: just a fad in the everyday life of normal people
On the other hand: Twitter is used as political tool in many election campaigns
In most Arab countries Twitter is used primarily as an information platform for those whose voices can otherwise not be heard in public
politicians and Twitter (Barack Obama)
twitter account since 2007, 43 Mio. follower
used twitter for his election campaign + motivate and inform his election assistants and respond to the society regarding the economy
account not run by himself, run by OFA (Organizing for Action)
Just a fad ?!
