Period 5 Rosa Parks Rosa Parks was born Rosa Parks dies Rosa Parks was born on February 4th, 1913. She was born in Tuskegee, Alabama. Rosa Parks' childhood December 1st, 1955, Rosa Parks got arrested for sitting down on the bus. Then the bus driver stopped the bus because he saw a white man standing up and her sitting down. He told her to give up her seat but she refused so he called the cops and she still refused so they had no other choice but to arrest her. Rosa Parks' brave actions that landed her in jail The next day her husband bailed her out of jail. He had to pay $10 because that was the fee. She was charged with the city segregation law. Rosa Parks gets released out of jail On October 24th, 2005, Rosa Parks died at the
age of 92. In 2004 she was diagnosed with
progressive dementia. As a child Rosa was sick most of the time. Her parents got a divorce, so she went to live with her grandparents on their farm.
