It is the ground rules which keeps people (human capital) inform about organization .what should be do or not to do . It is broad guideline that show aim and objective of organization.

POLICIES ARE THREE TYPE-
1.BEHAVIOURAL POLICY
2.ETHICAL POLICY
3.PROFESSIONAL CODE
FIRST THING
CLEAR AND EASILY UNDERSTOOD - First thing is that is should be clear means there is no such point which will create dilemma and also understood by employee easily
SECOND THING
BE IN WRITTEN- POLICIES SHOULD BE IN WRITTEN BECAUSE if SOME THING IS IN WRITTEN IT WILL NOT MAKE CONFLIT
ACCORDING TO INTERSET OF ALL PARTIES- POLICIES SHOULD AGREEBLE TO ALL THE PARTIES LIKE EMPLOYEE, MANAGEMENTN, SHAREHOLDER OR STAKEHOLDER

FORTH THING
FLEXIBLE- POLICIES ALSO FLEXIBLE IF IT SHOULD NOT BE TOO HARD IT SHOULD BE FLEXIBLE WHICH BUILT TRUST IN EMPLOYEE (HUMAN CAPITAL)

ACCORDING TO PHILOSOPHY OR OBJECTIVE OF ORGANISATION- IT WILL RELATED TO ORGANISATION OBJECTIVE AND MADE ACCORDING TO THAT OR FOCUS ON IT

FORMULATE THROUGH PARTICIPATION- THE POLICIES COULD BE MADE BY PARTICIPATION OF ALL THE PARTIES
SEVEN THING
CAREFUL AND ANALYSIS- POLICIES ALSO MAKE AFTER BRAINSTROMING OR CALLED THINKING OF ALL ASPECT AND CAREFULLY
EIGHT THING
FAIR AND EQUITABLE - IT COULD BE FAIR AND EQUITABLE FOR ALL PARTIES WHICH WILL HELP TO ORGANISATION TO RN LONG RUN EASILY AND WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM
