John Andrew's was awarded the medal of honor for his actions in the marine amphibious landing in Korea.
What he did
John Andrew's was aboard the U.S.S Benicia while heading to Korean forts he had perfect aim and bravery while he was under lots of gunfire on July 9th 1872.

Citizenship and patriotism
John Andrews shows citizenship and patriotism by only being on board the marine ship and fight with no doubt and showed how he can proudly say he is a citizen who fought and won in the weekend war.
