Transcript of The Beatles

In 1960 The Beatles met in
Liverpool, England. The original members were
Paul McCartney,
John Lennon, George
Harrison, and Ringo Star.
They were together
for ten years. They got their name because
the band members
were huge fans of Buddy
Holly and the Crickets. They broke up for the
same reason
they became successful
- they were all extremely
talented musicians
interested in trying
new things! Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still alive.
