Television Shows First aired August 1,1981 The first line when MTV aired was,"Ladies and gentlemen, rock and roll," by John Lack, who was a part of creating MTV. The Cosby Show 1984-1992 The Cosby Show brought a huge difference to the usual racial stereotypes. Billy Cosby There are multiple family sitcom shows created in the 80's. Growing Pains 1985 - 1992 1987 – 1997 Married with Children Katy Sagal Christina Applegate "120 Minutes": (March 10, 1986 ) Alternative Music Videos "Party Zone": (August 1987)Played a mixture of different types of music MTV is a lot different from how it used to be. The father of the Bundy family hates his job working as a women's shoe salesman. He has to deal with his wife and children's laziness, craziness, and stupidity
