It is the main theory of Plato, and contains every aspect of his philosophy.
It will surely be asked in your exam.
Remember the myth of the cavern
Sun -> Truth (Perfect forms or ideas)

Shadows -> Illusions (Every day objects)

Prisoners-> Normal Humans

Free man-> Philosopher
The place where true forms are.
It sees the forms, comprehends them, and creates everyday objects accordingly, which are inferior in quality to the perfect forms.
Plato is a nickname
Real name is unknown, most historians think it was "Aristocles"
Founder of the Academy
Where he tries to apply Socrates teachings.
Therefore, they developed dialectics.
