The Marketing strategy This sounds so general, what on earth is a marketing strategy A marketing strategy is a process that can allow an organization to concentrate its limited resources on the greatest opportunities to increase sales and achieve a sustainable competitive advantage Isn't that a marketing plan? A marketing plan details the steps a business will take to achieve its goal. A marketing strategy is about setting the vision and how the business wants to position itself That's all well and good, but surely there's more to it than that. Generic strategies-

- Product Differentiation
- Cost Leadership
- Market Segmentation Growth Strategies-

- Horizontal integration
- Vertical integration
- Diversification
- Intensification So What do you want me to do with this? Big and.... ... small ... small Lets look at some strategies that a business can use Strategies based on market dominance-
