Julius Caesar Birth Julius Caesar was born 3 days before the Ides of July, which is July 13, in 100 B.C. (or, possibly, 102).
Caesar & The pirates Julius went to Rhodes to study
oratory, but on his way he was
captured by pirates whom he
charmed & seemingly befriended.
After he was freed, Julius arranged
to have the pirates executed.

(44 B.C.)
Caesar was assassinated
by the senate.
Caesar had declared himself dictator for life, Which turned many of the senate against him. Best known as: The most famous of roman generals. Among the most successful
of all time. Caesar's most striking quality
was his speed of action. Stuff
With Caesar's murder
Rome plunged into 13 years
of civil war. Caesar excelled in war, statesmanship,
& in oratory.
Caesar wrote poetry. Quotes "I love the name of honor, more than I fear
"Men in general are quick to believe that which they wish to be true."

"It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die, than to find those who are willing to endure pain with patience."

"I would rather be first in a little Iberian village than second in Rome."

"I have lived long enough to satisfy both nature and glory."

"Men freely believe that which they desire."
