Girl Scouts San Diego Sponsored trips
July 22- 31, 2015

Make friends from across the country and around the world as you discover one of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) world centers. Enjoy a cultural program of activities and workshops based on the annual WAGGGS themes and initiatives, and see the sights in Cuernavaca, “the City of Eternal Spring,” with 13 Girl Scout sisters. During eight nights at Our Cabana, balance your time among songs, games, traditional Mexican crafts, campfires, a service project for the local community, and Girl Scout traditions and celebrations in five acres of lush, tropical gardens. The world center, located near Mexico City, has welcomed thousands of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides in the nearly 60 years since it opened. Pass through the impressive blue Chief’s Door, enjoy the grounds, and spend some time by the pool or on the tennis and volleyball courts. Explore the culture and history of Mexico! Visit forgirls.girlscouts.org/travel/take-a-trip/destinations/ to find out more about this trip and others.
