The beginning of new artistic movements
The Impressionism
The Impressionism is the visual sense of each person and it is a style of art in which you try to paint what is reflected at different times of the day. The technique and the composition of a painting is very personal to each artist.
In the late of 19th century, an artistic movement revolutionized the art world and gave start to Impressionism. The artist should paint what he sees. It showed mostly the landscapes and the outdoor scenes. They tried to capture the feelings, as the light and color of every moment. The photography was beginning to appear, the exact reproduction wasn't as important. It pretended to change the subjective vision of the artist.
Characteristics of Impressionism
The main european authors and their works
Éduard Manet-->El almuerzo campestre.
Camille Pissarro-->La cosecha.
Alfred Sisley--> Pradera.
Auguste Renoir-->El palco.
Edgar Degas-->Bailarinas.
Joaquin Soroya-->Paseo a orillas del mar.
Berthe Morisot-->En los trigales de Gennevilliers.
Mary Cassatt-->El palco del teatro.
The architecture was the classical form of the 19th century, what stands out is how to develop, _ engineering, technique and materials used was improved. Joseph Paxton was one of the best architect of his time.
The Impressionist's painting appeared in Europe in the 19th century. The French were that led to this dramatic evolution and had breaks in the beginning. Monet and Renoir were the most highlighted by change more free and natural perspective. The Impressionists painting for himself.

The sculpture doesn't exist, because the paint was predominated. Some artists made sculptures, trying to imitate their pictures and there are little remains.

The Impressionism in Spain
Spain received the Impressionism later than other countries.
From the marriage of Napoléon III and the countess Eugenia de Montijo, the French artists were fascinated for the Spanish culture, who they were inspired in the works of major artists such as Velázquez, Murillo and Goya.

Carlos de Haes was one of the most important painters of the Impressionism in Spain.
Many spanish painters had to leave to study to Paris and Bruselas. Some of them were Adolfo Guiard, Darío Regoyos and Ramón Casas.
The objective of the Impressionists was getting a spontaneous and direct representation of the world.

-Adolfo Guiard used the variety of colors and the contrasts of the Impressionists. His compositions followed the perspectives of Degas.

-Darío Regoyos' pictures are totally landscapes but in some of them, appeared human figures.

-Ramón Casas painted with cold and grays colors.
The Post-impressionism
The Post-impressionism is a recovery of the importance of drawing and concern for capturing the light and the expressiveness of the things.
Some impressionism's painters were:

- Van Gogh : one of his pictures is “ Los comedores de patatas “ which he painted with dark colors.
This picture represents some people who eat the food that they cultivated.
" Los girasoles y La noche estrellada “ are others pictures of Van Gogh.

-Paul Cézanne : his pictures do that the people think and use the view. One of his pictures is “ La montaña de Santa Victoria “.

-Paul Gauguin : used a decorative techniques and transformed the nature into free colors.
His masterpiece is “ ¿De dónde venimos? ¿Quiénes somos? ¿A dónde vamos?"

: Impressionist painting characteristics include open composition, emphasis on accurate depiction of light in its changing qualities, ordinary subject matter, and unusual visual angles. Some artists of this movement are Claude Monet and Degas.

These impressionists painters of before of 19th century we were found not between the classics and academics, but also between the realists.
Unlike true impressionists of the 19th century, haven't yet given up the linear perspective, the black shades and the somber tones.
Was Venecia, the heart of the color, highlighting Giorgione, Tiziano and Guardi giving more importance to color over the form.
In Spain Velazquez wanted to capture the real and suggest the life.
