Transcript of Photosynthesis

What is photosynthesis??? Photosynthesis is a process in which plants convert energy from sunlight, into the energy in the chemicle bonds of carbohydrates. http://edublogs.tv/play.php?vid=880 Photosynthesis Song! Equation: 6CO2 + 6H2O + Energy C6H12O6 + 6O2 Reactants and Products! The reactant of the first stage is Carbon Dioxide.

The reactant of the second stage is water. The Product of the 1st stage is oxygen.
The product of the 2nd stage is sugar. The first stage takes place in the: Thylekoid
The second stage takes place in the: Stroma Levels of Energy:

AMP-lowest level of energy
You can figure this out by looking at the middle letter.
The "M" stands for Mono- meaning '1' ATP-highest energy level
The 'T' stands for Tri- meaning '3' People who made it possible! ADP- the middle energy level
The D stands for Di which means two Joseph Priestly Joseph Priestly discovered the oxygen part of photosynthesis
He experimented with a candle. Jan Van Helmont He discovered the water part of photosynthesis.
He did an experiment with soil and a willow tree. Jan Ingenhousz He discovered the light and sun part of photosynthesis.
He experimented with a mouse and a plant. THE END!!!
