BAGGY CLOTHING. WHAT GOOD EXPERIMENTERS NEED TO KNOW! Watch your eyes! WEARING SAFETY GOGGLES IS
MOST IMPORTANT
DURING EXPERIMENTS! In Case of an Emergency... WE ALL NEED TO KNOW HOW TO USE
THE SAFETY EQUIPMENT:
-FIRE BLANKET
-FIRE EXTINGUISHER
-EYE WASH STATION
-SAFETY SHOWER
-EMERGENCY EXIT Do Not attempt this at home... ONLY COMPLETE EXPERIMENTS
GIVEN BY THE
TEACHER, NOTHING MORE. by: Miss Gann SCIENCE SAFETY NEVER BRING ANY FOOD OR
DRINKS INTO THE LAB AREA. THROW AWAY WASTE MATERIALS SAFELY:
-GLASS IN THE GLASS BOX
-CHEMICALS UNDER THE FUME HOOD;
NEVER DOWN THE DRAIN! DO NOT PUT THE CHEMICALS IN YOUR MOUTH, SMELL THEM, OR TOUCH THEM WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM THE TEACHER.
-ALWAYS WAFT THE CHEMICAL
-USE GLOVES OR PROPER EQUIPMENT NO RUNNING IN THE LAB! WHEN WORKING IN THE LAB,
THERE SHOULD ALWAYS
BE A TEACHER PRESENT.
NEVER WORK ALONE! IF THERE IS AN ACCIDENT,
ALWAYS ALERT THE
TEACHER.
DO NOT HANDLE BROKEN GLASS OR SPILLED CHEMICALS. It is almost lunch.... Wafting=Winning WE ARE NOT ANIMALS... UH OH...?!?
