It was a band from Manchester, England. Started in 1991 but only emerged on the world scene in 1994 as a "brand" of traditional British rock The band established itself as one of the '90s most acclaimed, not only for their musical quality, but also by the peculiar behavior of its members, such as confrontations with the media and the fights between the brothers Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher 1991 - The band "The Rain" was created, but was changed to "Oasis", formed by Paul Bonehead Arthurs, Paul McGuigan, Liam Gallagher, Noel Gallagher and Tony McCarroll 1992 - they had the First gig in Boardwalk club in Manchester 1994 - the band's first album was released 1995 - Oasis released their first album to reach the No. 1 best sellers: "Some Might say" 1995 - Tony McCarroll left the band and Alan White takes his place, Oasis release "(what's the story) morning glory?", the most succesful album and the 3rd best selling in the UK 1998 - First time the band performs in South America 1999 - The guitarist Bonehead and the bassist Guigsy leave the group. Colin "Gem" Archer and Andy Bell replace the guitarist and bassist who left the band 2001 - The band participated in the Rock in Rio, in Rio de Janeiro, for more than 200.000 people 2004 - Alan White left the band due to have missed workouts and Zak Starkey enters in his place 2009 - Noel leaves the band due to a disagreement with his brother 2010 - The band announced it will change its name to Beady Eye and Noel creates his group "Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds" Definitely Maybe (1994) (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
