Explanation of CAT 1: Group presentation
First step: read the story 'Any Day'.

1. Before you decide which group you will be in, everyone needs to read (or reread) the story
'Any Day'.


2. Located on p.147. If you don't have the book, get a photocopy off the teacher.

3. Silent reading and annotating (for 15 minutes).

4. If you finish early, begin brainstorming ideas.

Next steps...
1. Decide on groups (2-4 people, no less than 2, no more than 4)

2. Work through the requirements in the CAT guide (see below image)












3. Write the outline of your presentation on poster paper. You will transfer this information onto a PowerPoint or Prezi next period when we have the laptops.

4. Once the presentation has been created, begin rehearsing.

5. Presentation will take place on Monday Period 4 or Tuesday Period 3.
LI: To work on CAT 1 - Group presentations.

SC: Students will work through the steps in the CAT guide in order to complete the rehearsal phase of the CAT.
