Solutions for

Since unemployment is a serious cost and issue that is a side effect of automation, which needs to be addressed. Increased demand of automation has lead to more production facilities, non conventional industries such as the internet, enhanced productivity coupled with speed and efficiency - meaning more support services - leading to more jobs. If the Governments across the world could work together to achieve a more balanced and rationalized approach for global economy, the benefits of automation coupled with resource availability could yield better benefits to our global community in terms of jobs, security and better living standards.
Solutions for High Initial Costs
High initial costs is a major problem for advances in automation, that is why we have come up with a solution, that would get rid of such a problem. To accomplish such a goal, a money saving program could be implemented. The money saving program could help raise money for the country, which could be used to initiate automation. Highly requested goods and resources native to certain places could be exported to other countries to raise money. Cuts on unnecessary transactions could be a efficient way to raise money. The last part of the money saving program would be to advertise, to big investors, to get the necessary amount of money to raise funds for initiation of automation in certain countries.
Solutions for Environmental Issues
Environmental issues such as; consumption of resources and emissions of harmful greenhouse gases can be avoided with our solution. Enabling automation to run on wind and solar energy, most environmental issues would be solved. With automation running on solar and wind energy, automation becomes more efficient than ever, with almost no emissions released and resources wasted. To get all these materials (solar panels and wind turbines), again we would use the money saving program. Thus, the environmental issues are solved.
Solutions for Security Threats
Now we come to the security threat problem. Imagine the problems that the world would have if someone took over all the automation. To avoid these problems, higher quality software programs could be installed therefore making automation more protected. Additional to the security software programs in automated devices, security guards could be another solution for security threats, also this leads to more jobs. The reason we need improved security for automation is, to make sure companies and other business stay safe from cyber hackers.
Benefits of

Automation. What it is it? Is it for the good of mankind? Or does it have devastating side effects? In our perspective, automation is very beneficial, productive and efficient in the workplace. And in a revolutionary world such as ours, we need automation. Automation is the replacement of human workers by technology. Believe it or not, we use automation daily in our lives, for example: using your phone to surf the web, using the washing machine, the A/C to cool or heat our houses. And over the years, automation has changed and improved our lives in many ways.
Automation raises four major costs: unemployment, high initial costs, environmental issues and security threats. These costs could hurt the economy and situation of our society and world as a whole. Unemployment is one of the costs due to the fact that, automation works better and faster than humans. Less people would have an annual income, being unable to pay to feed and shelter their families. This would lead to poverty. The next cost, would be high initial costs. Automation needs a high amount money to get up and running. Such a thing would ruin the chances of automation to improve and develop the world economy.
Costs & Solutions
Now we come to the problem of environmental issues, automation requires natural resources such as fossil fuels. Automated devices would release emissions such as carbon dioxide and smoke. This would add to greenhouse gases and the earth would eventually become a never ending microwave. One of the last major costs would be security threats. Since automation, uses automated orders to work, unauthorized forces would be able to hack into the devices and control them according to their will.
Even though only four costs have been described in detail, maintenance, development and research costs, loss of traditional skill and manual testing would be problems too.
The benefits of having automation in factories would be:
Increased productivity, products and goods would be made with more quality and quantity.
Cost effective, since operation costs would be lowered, less staff are required to be trained and paid.
Reduced levels of human error. No humans to get bored and sloppy to mess up operations.
Efficient use of materials , less consumption of materials since automation acts with more meticulousness.
People's lives in developing nations would drastically improve with automation due to:
Automation would allow children to go to school, child labor would no longer be required in developing nations because, factories would produce goods and services quickly. (human rights)
Developing nations would be able export more of their goods, this would allow a higher amount of GDP per country.
More food would be produced with automation in agriculture in developing nations. Hunger problems would be solved.
With more children being able to go to school, the literacy rate would improve, the country would have more professionals working in their country and become a better place overall. Poverty would be reduced with more people working.
Automation would better education systems all over the world , since:
Children and students would have an easy-to-learn interface.
Research and technical skills would extend and cover a greater area.
Promotes efficient data entry.
More children have the access to education, since children would no longer need to work in factories. With increased automation, child labor could never be heard of again.
A better future would be in hand, because more students would be technologically advanced in a growing world.
Living Facilities &
Developing Nations
Many Industries rely on automation for its capabilities to execute tasks with precision. For example:
Banking heavily depends on automation, as ATMs are automated. It is very cost effective and enhances flexibility for customers, as it allows them them to access money at any time.
Construction projects require automation due to the fact that automation, does all the heavy lifting, meaning that projects are completed faster.
Simply put, automation in agriculture equals more food.
The health industry needs automation as, scanning for disease, making medicines, and to help advance the world of health.
Automation led to the birth of many new non conventional, highly effective and efficient businesses- leading to new skill development and employment opportunities
The use of automation in our environment is the main reason , why we are able to:
Predict the weather
Remove humans from hazardous situations
Clean up from after natural disasters and oil spills.
Produce less waste while mining
Living facilities consist of many types of automation, that make our lives efficient, examples are:
Washing machines and dryers . Instead of manually washing and drying clothes.
Refrigerator & stoves. Without them we wouldn't be able to store and cook food.
Cameras and CCTV to protect living quarters and offices.
A/C, to heat and cool living facilities.
Cars and buses to drive to nearby places.
Trains and planes to travel to long distances.

Now we have realized, that in the workplace, automation has many advantageous benefits but at the same time every action has reaction. The costs of automation have to be taken seriously. The solutions we have come up with have increased the benefits and minimized the costs. If these solutions are put into action, more children would be at school, more jobs would be around, people would have and increased amount of access to food. the world's economy and the world as a whole would gain in every possible way. And just imagine, if there was no automation, to help us get through our lives?
