ways of knowing. Why am I feeling this way? Why am I hearing this way? Why am I speaking this way? Knowing Emotion through Perception Our senses give us clues about others emotions. Question To ASk Yourself Emotion is also displayed by body language. Misinterpretation is always a problem People tend to hide their emotions. Emotion is affected by our health, physical state, and biochemical balance. Additionally, our physical state is affected by our emotions. Core Intuition Subject Intuition Social Intuition Knowing Emotion through Reasoning Reasoning helps us judge whether or not a emotional reaction makes sense in the context. Reasoning draws on previous knowledge.
