Haiti is located west of the Dominican Republic and just south of Cuba.
Culture/Customs
religion: Roman Catholicism or Voodoo
festivals/gatherings: attend folk dances and voodoo ceremonies
most popular holidays are Carnival holiday and New Years Day
most famous sport is football
Haitian people don't like baseball
sometimes they eat only beans nut other times they eat meat with the beans
geography
very mountainous; peaks reach over 8,000 ft.
