Description: The southern cassowary has stiff black plumage a blue face red on the nape and two red wattles measuring 17.8cm. The brown casque on its head ranges between 13-16.9 cm and their claws are the size of carrots.
Weight: 17-70kg
Height: 1.5-1.8m
Diet: Fallen fruit, fungi, insects and vertebrates.
Interesting Facts: The southern cassowary is the deadliest bird in the world.
