Differences make us stronger at hard situations like combat. And that the only way to get the best result of all is combining our weaknesses and strengths.

Farewell Brittany
As part of the showcase initiative, Kim identified and spoke to a diverse highly talented candidate, Wendy Whittington. She was so impressed by their conversation that she knew she needed to market her resume to Tenet Leadership immediately even knowing she didn't have an open requisition. The Tenet CE expressed interest and shared with the Healthcare Consulting Leader. Interviews were quickly scheduled and underway, each interviewer was impressed by her experience and knowledge. Wendy has been a Chief Medical Officer since 2008 and would bring a wealth of expertise in healthcare and could be a tremendous asset and additional MD (Received MD degree from University of Medicine, New Jersey) for the Healthcare Consulting Practice. After all interviews were completed, the Healthcare Consulting Leader identified an open req in his org and Kim partnered with Courtney Hunt (Recruiter for HC) to get an offer approved and extended to Wendy, and Wendy verbally accepted on the spot! Kim recognized this candidate as top notch and knew even though she didn't have a specific req opened or the ability to compensate her at her level if she did, she knew Dell could greatly benefit from her expertise and this would be a great place for Wendy to continue to thrive in her professional career. She made it happen - a win for Dell and a win for the candidate!
Oriel had the opportunity to lead the participation of Dell Panama for first time in an online job fair - the Expokonzerta Virtual Job Fair - conducted by one of the biggest job boards in the country. Oriel took this activity to the next level by increasing candidate participation by engaging them through all social media channels in a very innovative way, He engaged Dell Team Members around the region through the different social media channels (Chatter, facebook, LI & Twitter) to voted and promote the participation of candidates. With all these initiatives Oriel positioned Dell Panama in the local market as a solid and strong company and keep up that Great Place to Work spirit. which lead us to have amazing results. We received more than 5K resumes and Dell Panama was positioned as a solid and strong company to work for, keeping up with the Great Place to Work Spirit. At the virtual job fair, Dell was also positioned as the #1 Company, competing with other multinationals & local companies.
Yanuario is working to increase the diversity we have at Dell. He does not lose any opportunity to promote this topic either with potential candidates, interns or at universities. He is even promoting a remote program for interns. Searching for bigger scenarios every time. Together with the Mexico City Intern, Hector Jimenez, he led the organization and promotion of a Conference with our General Manager and also a PYP at La Salle University. Between both events there were a total number of 1,200 students. We have not had ever that amount of people in one auditorium at once.
We created a comprehensive communications strategy for a GSD organization-wide audience. Molly led the way by collaborating with our HRBPs, GSD Communications Team, Jennifer Newbill, and Dalhia Rodriguez to develop a Monthly Newsletter for the US, which is distributed to 7,000 team members. Molly also creates TA content for the organization’s internal website—GSD L.I.V.E. This site is accessible to over 16,000 GSD team members globally.

Molly demonstrates that winning together takes our TA message to a whole new level. TA, HR, and the business are working together to promote key initiatives like Dell Talent Community, Dell Champions, Great Place to Work, articles featuring GSD leaders, diversity, ERGs, etc. TA is leading from the front, as the newsletter is our voice of influence, to the business and thousands of GSD team members. Great job, Molly!
Gabriela’s interaction with the Canada Inside Sales leaders was amazing. She hosted great PYP sessions and helped them discover a great number of useful LinkedIn features they were not aware of. Gabriela also held sessions especially for our team so we could standardize our profiles as TA Internal Recruiters for NORAM. She took the time to check all of our profiles and provided feedback on the information we were missing. Her suggestions immediately improved our profiles and we started sharing her suggestions not only to other colleagues but also with the hiring leaders we work with, thus improving our brand.
In summary Gabriela:
- Provide biweekly sessions for Canada Inside Sales hiring leaders
- Conducted a thorough review of our LinkedIn profiles
- Standardize the contents of our LinkedIn profiles
- Provided effective branding to Dell’s profiles available in LinkedIn
She received great positive feedback from her peers and customers. Some shared they had discovered the importance of having an updated profile and the benefits this could have in their careers.
Giancarla led the Dell Tour Bus project which ends up with a total of 494 persons interviewed, 173 interviews and a 73% ready for a second round of interviews to have a position in Dell. This is a huge win for TA and Dell,
Welcome Pam
