Valid photo ID (drives license, state-issued ID, etc is required
Completed application must be submitted prior to testing
No charges-test is free
No parking fee at Middletown location
No time limit
No appointment necessary
You must arrive 2 hours prior to closing to take COMPASS test.
ACT Scores can be used in place of the COMPASS Placement Test
ACT scores must be less than 2 years old
English score 18: College ready for English 1001
Reading score 17: College ready
No additional reading courses are required
Math score 22: College ready for math
Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics
If you score less than a 22, you will be required to take the Math portion of the COMPASS test
Attended a Regionally Accredited College or University
Grade of "C" or higher required
Completed college level English Composition
Completed college level Algebra
Health Students must complete college level algebra within last 7 years
PNC Students must have completed college level algebra within last 5 years
Placement is determined from ACT and/or COMPASS scores

Courses designed for skill development and Foundational Review.
Courses requiring prerequisites will only be accessible to those who have already met prerequisites
